Having Fun in St. George

We were fortunate enough to go to St. George two weekends in a row in October. The first weekend we were able to swim and play golf. The next weekend we joined Allen and Joy's family and also Ross and Karen. We had fun boating, 4 wheeling with Larry Fisher's wheelers and his family, and hiking in Zion National Park. Half of us went hiking to the Emerald Pools, while the other half hiked to the top to Angels Landing. Yes, some of the pictures are as dangerous as they look while others look dangerous with trick photography. See if you can tell the difference!

Such Cute Kids!!!!

Rob's Grandmother passed away over the weekend and we were able to go to the funeral in Wyoming yesterday. After the luncheon was over and it was time to leave, Abby was holding Cara and decided to just lay down with her. Brayden and Peyton didn't want to miss out on the fun and pretended to be asleep as well. We just couldn't resist the picture moment!!!

From Fall to Winter in one night

Rob & I took Abby and her friend Kennedee to Snowbird for the night. It was raining here at home on Saturday but when we got to Snowbird it was foggy and barely sprinkling. We were able to swim and play games and just enjoy a change of scenery. When we woke up this morning it was snowing. CRAZY!!!! We rode the tram to the top and you can see how deep the snow was. It was cold and we realized we are not quite ready for winter yet. Snowbird was also celebrating their "Octoberfest" so that is what the last pictures are taken of. By the time we got home it was sunny and warmer and it was like a dream that we were throwing snowballs at each other just a few short hours before. I love Utah!!!!

Cara & Caylin

This past week I was able to go to Wyoming and help Catherine with her new twin girls (thank you to my husband and great kids who took care of each other at home). I loved holding and kissing them. Abby was able to come for 3 days with Grandpa Ross and by the time we left she was a pro at burping, bouncing, and changing diapers. Thank you for letting us help you for a short time. We love the Andrews family!!!

Off to school we go!!!!

Justin & Jordan were sad to leave for Utah State until we told them they could come home for Thanksgiving & Christmas. Casey started his senior year at Woods Cross but not until he had a well balanced meal. Abby was excited to start 4th grade but most of all she just wanted to see her friends. Us Mom's had mixed emotions from overjoyed, sad to lonely but we will take one for the team and let the kids go.

I waited until the end of the summer to post our boating pictures so here is an overview of all of our adventures. We were able to go to Pineview multiple times and to Bear Lake just last weekend for our last excursion. We love spending time together and with friends on our boat.

Oh, what do you do in the summertime?

We have had a VERY fun and busy summer. Here are a few of the things that kept us busy. Playing with neighborhood friends, swimming, playing in the ocean, swing jumping at Pineview, getting dirty and going to parades in Wyoming, horseback riding, fishing, boating with friends, relaxing with friends, dress up fun & beauty salon time.

Fun Things to do in Wyoming

Abby and I stayed in Wyoming after the boys of our family came back home. We got to stay an extra week helping Catherine and her cute family with their daily activities since Catherine is due in a couple of weeks with twins. We loved spending time with them and can't wait to go again. Abby, Brayden and Peyton built a waterfall in their backyard that took 3 days to complete. We went horseback riding, fishing, swimming, did fireworks and just played. Thank you, Justin and Catherine for letting us share some of our summer with you. We love you all!!!!

July 4th Weekend in Wyoming

We spent the July 4th Weekend in Wyomoing with Justin, Catherine, Brayden & Peyton. Catherine signed us up for the annual "Mud Volleyball Tournemant" We had fun taking 3rd place. The night before we attended the local rodeo and later we watched the prade.

Casey Turns 17

Yesterday was Casey's 17th birthday and by the looks of it he wasn't too excited. He said that birthdays aren't as fun as they used to be. He had to go to work then all of his friends were either on vacation or busy so he hung out with us (which apparently we aren't that fun). Tomorrow we are all going to a beach house in North Carolina for a week and then Casey will go to EFY with his cousin Taylor in Virginia at Southern Virginia University for the second week. That sounds like a fun birthday to me!!!

Justin and his new Motorcycle

Justin has been wanting a motorcycle for some time now and after many discussions with his Dad and Mom's he finally did it. Now we are all nervous when we hear him leave and grateful when we hear him return.

Abby's 9th Birthday

Abby chose to go boating for her family birthday party but it was too cold so we went bowling instead. We all had tons of fun!!!!
