Abby had her Cheer Review Night at the Jr. High School last week. This is a night where they introduce the incoming cheerleaders for the next year and recognize the 9th grade cheerleaders that are moving on to High School. MaryAnn and I had an anniversary trip planned so we were not able to attend so her older brothers stepped in and escorted her to the event. Justin walked her out and Casey took some pictures. What great big brothers she has.
It was an event filled 2011 for the Harrison family and again we feel blessed beyond belief.
Justin graduated from Utah State University in May and spent the next few months looking for a job. After working a few temporary jobs he landed a full time position in September with Software Technology Group (STG) here in Salt Lake City. After living with us for the summer after graduation he has moved out and is now living in Salt Lake close to his work.
Casey is one class away from getting his Associates Degree from the Salt Lake Community College and plans on going to Weber State to finish up his Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training before applying to Physical Therapy School. He continues to work hard at the carwash and as a physical therapist aid at Performance West here in Bountiful.
Abby graduated from 6th grade and started Jr. High School and loves it. She is playing the clarinet in the school band, on a competitive tumbling and a fast pitch softball team and plans to try out for the cheerleading team this spring. All this along with her church activities and school studies keeps her and us very busy. She also helps a neighbor a few times a month with her jewelry business to earn a few dollars toward her goal of purchasing her own iPad sometime soon.
MaryAnn and I stay busy with our day to day work responsibilities and other activities. I am happily still working for Myriad Genetics, Inc. as the Chief Information Officer and love my job and the people I work with. MaryAnn does an amazing job keeping the household running smoothly and all of us in line (most of the time ;-).

Abby and her friend Abby dressed up as NERDS for their Band Concert and also again for Halloween. They are too cute to be nerds!!!!
Abby's new adventure is joining a Competition Softball team called "AIM". The team was announced at the Bee's game and were able to meet the player that plays their same position. It was a fun night and good experience for the girls!!!!
