We celebrated Justin's birthday a few days early and as you can see he had alot of friends and family here celebrating with him. I can't believe that he is 23. We are sooo lucky to have Justin in our family. He is an awesome big brother and is a great example to us all. We love you Justin!!!!
Not one of us can believe that Wrestling is over. Casey has had an AWESOME wrestling career. Casey didn't finish as well as he would have like to at the state level but we are extremely proud of him for going above and beyond what was expected of him as a wrestler. Casey practiced extra hard, fought each match extra hard, was a GREAT sport even when he didn't win, and was never a quitter!!! We are proud of you and LOVE YOU CASEY!!!!!
Even though the Science Fair is elective in 4th grade, Abby always wants to be apart of everything. Abby and her friends had fun doing the project anyway.
Once again we all had a VERY good Christmas. Santa Claus was awesome!!! Abby lost a tooth on Christmas Eve and she was sure that Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy would visit on the same night but we kept telling her not to count on it. Well, what do you know, they both pulled through. We have been enjoying the time off of work, and school. We are enjoying each other, & our friends and don't want it to end. We are ready with our UTE gear to cheer them on next week and we are loving the snow!!! Have a Happy New Year!
My brother and his family were in town for a few days before Thanksgiving so Abby was able to go Ice Skating with her cousins and uncle. She has been one other time with her cousin Maddie and she has really enjoyed it. Instead of asking to go bowling all the time she is now asking when she can go ice scating again. I guess we will have to go again real soon!!!
Abby was able to go on the Polar Express train in Heber with Justin, Catherine, Brayden and Peyton this past weekend. I heard the Hot Chocolate was "YUMMY" and Mrs. Claus even gave them the cookie recipe to take and try. Thank you Catherine and Justin for always including Abby in your fun plans. We love you!!!!
We go from a cute Halloween, to a cool, then a scary one. We have such cute, cool, scary kids. We are so proud!!!
We were fortunate enough to go to St. George two weekends in a row in October. The first weekend we were able to swim and play golf. The next weekend we joined Allen and Joy's family and also Ross and Karen. We had fun boating, 4 wheeling with Larry Fisher's wheelers and his family, and hiking in Zion National Park. Half of us went hiking to the Emerald Pools, while the other half hiked to the top to Angels Landing. Yes, some of the pictures are as dangerous as they look while others look dangerous with trick photography. See if you can tell the difference!
Rob's Grandmother passed away over the weekend and we were able to go to the funeral in Wyoming yesterday. After the luncheon was over and it was time to leave, Abby was holding Cara and decided to just lay down with her. Brayden and Peyton didn't want to miss out on the fun and pretended to be asleep as well. We just couldn't resist the picture moment!!!
Rob & I took Abby and her friend Kennedee to Snowbird for the night. It was raining here at home on Saturday but when we got to Snowbird it was foggy and barely sprinkling. We were able to swim and play games and just enjoy a change of scenery. When we woke up this morning it was snowing. CRAZY!!!! We rode the tram to the top and you can see how deep the snow was. It was cold and we realized we are not quite ready for winter yet. Snowbird was also celebrating their "Octoberfest" so that is what the last pictures are taken of. By the time we got home it was sunny and warmer and it was like a dream that we were throwing snowballs at each other just a few short hours before. I love Utah!!!!
This past week I was able to go to Wyoming and help Catherine with her new twin girls (thank you to my husband and great kids who took care of each other at home). I loved holding and kissing them. Abby was able to come for 3 days with Grandpa Ross and by the time we left she was a pro at burping, bouncing, and changing diapers. Thank you for letting us help you for a short time. We love the Andrews family!!!
Justin & Jordan were sad to leave for Utah State until we told them they could come home for Thanksgiving & Christmas. Casey started his senior year at Woods Cross but not until he had a well balanced meal. Abby was excited to start 4th grade but most of all she just wanted to see her friends. Us Mom's had mixed emotions from overjoyed, sad to lonely but we will take one for the team and let the kids go.
